About Dr. Karla Sánchez
Pediatrician and Pediatric Emergency specialist, trained at two of the world's most recognized pediatric institutions, with a personal focus on first-time parents and the first year of life.
Clinical closeness, backed by top-level training
Dr. Karla Sánchez is a Medical Doctor from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) and a specialist in Pediatrics from the Instituto Nacional de Pediatría (INP), endorsed by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) — one of the leading pediatric centers in Latin America.
She complemented her training with international rotations at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP, USA), consistently ranked among the top three pediatric hospitals in the world, and at the University of Maribor, in the European Union.
She is currently an attending physician in Pediatric Emergency at Centro Médico ABC Santa Fe, where she treats acute cases such as bronchiolitis, croup, febrile seizures and trauma — experience she brings to her private practice as well, where she can resolve minor emergencies without the family needing to go to an emergency room.
Professional license 12442805 (Medical Doctor) · Specialty license in Pediatrics 14709409 · Certified by the Mexican Council for Pediatric Certification (CMCP) · Care in Spanish and English.

Her philosophy: support, don't scare
Dr. Karla created "Capítulo CERO: a no-panic guide for first-time parents" — a community of more than 8,100 Instagram followers — from the same conviction she applies in the office: the first months don't have to be lived in fear.
That is why 90% of her patients are under one year old: well-child visits, routines, complementary feeding and vaccination under one clinical approach, with real availability when parents need it most.
